The Formal Your Chapter Will Not Stop Talking About

Every chapter has been to the same hotel ballroom twice. Nobody forgets the formal that left the dock. The Destiny gives your chapter the entire yacht: a dance floor with DJ hookups, an open-air top deck for the group photo, and the Cincinnati skyline moving past all night.

Advisors sign off easily too. It's a contained venue with a professional crew, a Kentucky ABC licensed bar that checks ID at every pour (21+ only, no outside alcohol), and a free 152-space lot that fits charter buses from UC, Xavier, NKU, or Miami.

What Does a Formal on The Destiny Cost Per Person?

Chapters budget per head, so we quote that way: the yacht, crew, food format, and bar structure divided across your headcount. Heavy-appetizer formats keep the per-person number friendly while fitting the most people.

Compared with a rented hall plus separate catering, security, and a bar minimum, the yacht usually lands lower than chapters expect, and the free lot swallows the buses. Send your headcount and date and we'll price it out.

Good to Know

How does the bar work for a mixed-age chapter?

The Destiny's bar is licensed by the Kentucky ABC and every pour is ID checked; guests 21 and over drink, everyone else doesn't. Outside alcohol is never permitted on board, which keeps the night clean for the chapter and the advisors.

How many people can we bring?

Up to 100 guests cocktail-style, or 76 for a seated dinner. Heavy-appetizer formats fit the most people and keep the dance floor moving.

Can we bring our own DJ?

Yes. The sound system has DJ hookups, and most formals bring their own. A playlist through the house system works too.

Is there parking for buses?

Yes. Our free lot has 152 spaces and room for charter buses and shuttles, about 15 minutes from UC and Xavier and 10 from NKU.

What does a formal cost per person?

It depends on guest count, food format, and date; per-person pricing lands lower than most chapters expect for a private yacht. Send us your headcount and we'll quote it.
